South Wraxall won the toss and decided to put Grittleton into bat. The pitch looked green, with a long out field! This meant scoring boundaries might prove troublesome.

After tea, South Wraxall started to bat, but with some good opening overs from Brian and Huw we restricted South Wraxall to the same run rate, they restricted Grittleton to... But after seasons playing on the same pitch day in and day out, they managed to up the run rate to beyond what was required. Making it difficult for Grittleton to win!

Grittleton put up a valiant fight but in the end the result was inevitable.
