Sunday 17 June - Away 40 Over Friendly Match against Kingswood Village

Please contact our Captain via phone or e-mail to let him know your availability for this game.

Team selected for Sunday's Game is: Robert Ward, Anthony Josey, Tim Bashford, Julian Howgill, Charles Carrington, Sangwan, Singh, Al Kilfoil, Peter Cross and Andrew Carrington.

There's still space for 1 more, if you find yourself available - Al can't get there till an hour or so late, so we are only 10 till then. Either X or Andrew will happily be 12th man. It is likely that wicket keeping duties will have to be shared around - so, if you have the relevant kit, please bring it with you. We don't know what standard our opponents will be, but it sounds as though they are a side, similar to ours, which plays just friendly cricket - see their website. It is a ground which we haven't been to before, so your SatNav will be useful - set it for GL12 8RF. They play behind the Village Hall, on Wickwar Road, Kingswood. (Make sure you are heading for the correct Kingswood! This is a village between Wickwar and Wotton-under-Edge; NOT the one on the outskirts of Bristol). It is about 30 minutes drive from Grittleton, so lift sharing makes sense. Please leave plenty of time for your journey and aim to get there around 2pm, as it's a 2.30pm start.
